Due to continued expansion of our client base, and very healthy ongoing repeat business, KeyOstas are looking to recruit an experienced FLT and Plant Instructor
Essential
- Trained, tested and certificated as an ITSSAR Fork Lift Truck instructor
- Trained, tested and certificated to an instructor qualification in the use of a wide range of lifting gear / cranes including overhead cranes, rider & remote / wired pendants
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Lifting, Rigging and Safe Use of Overhead Cranes including Storage and Inspection, Lifting, Planning and Supervision
- Be up to date with current legislation PUWER and LOLER, and the LEEA COPUSLE
Desirable
- Familiarity with other plant, eg. telehandler, excavators, Rough Terrain trucks, Pedestrian trucks.
- Plant training experience with MEWPs, Abrasive Wheels, Tower Scaffolds and vehicle banksman.
- H&S training experience with manual handling and Work at height (including harness)
The role will mainly involve providing training to a variety of clients at their premises throughout the UK, or at our training centre in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Candidates must be prepared to travel as part of the role and there will be a requirement for overnight stays. A company vehicle or vehicle allowance is provided, along with all relevant IT equipment and a company credit card.
