If you are a health and safety adviser in a low risk environment or if you are just starting out on a career in safety this course will provide a solid foundation on which to build your knowledge. Although there are no pre-requisite learning requirements, delegates who have sat the IOSH Managing Safely course previously have achieved better results. A solid understanding of English is required, both orally and written, to be able to understand the material and sit the examinations.
To achieve the NEBOSH National General Certificate requires the successful completion of three formal examinations; two traditional written question papers and one practical workplace assessment which needs to be completed in your own workplace. Success in each examination will be recognised by the issue of a single credit. When all three credits have been gained you will receive your NEBOSH National General Certificate and you have five years in which to complete the challenge.
Delegates successfully completing this programme who can demonstrate at least 5 years in a health and safety role will be eligible to apply for Tech IOSH membership of the Institution.
Delegates can further their knowledge and qualifications by attending the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Prices include all NEBOSH fees and VAT
