Senior Health and Safety Trainer

POSITION: Senior Health and Safety Trainer

SALARY: Up to £30,000 – £35,000 negotiable depending on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Being a trainer at KeyOstas is a pivotal position.  As such you will be responsible for delivering a variety of Health and Safety training courses to an extensive range of blue-chip clients either at one of our training centres in the Midlands, remotely via Teams or Zoom, or on client site across the UK.

Due to the diversity of our clients and candidates no training course is ever the same and you will deal with people from all backgrounds with a variety of learning styles. As such you will have the ability to remain passionate whilst engaging to deliver a training syllabus whilst at the same time have the necessary expertise to deliver the content correctly paced for each group.

Due to further expansion the company is now seeking to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Trainer to deliver up to and including NEBOSH programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting and well-established Health & Safety company with further growth plans.

Our clients demand the very best in service and training delivery, and the company employs only those who can meet or rise to exacting standards. You will have significant experience in the Health and Safety field with an appropriate training qualification.

Delivery of training at the company’s prestigious and demanding clients’ premises are a significant part of this role therefore a willingness to travel UK-wide is a requirement.

JOB ROLE:

  • Professional delivery of all general and specific health and safety courses to include IOSH
  • Development and design of new health and safety courses to reflect new changes in legislation.
  • To portray a professional company image to all customers.
  • To assist and cooperate with colleagues to ensure a professional service through collaboration and the sharing of information.
  • This role reports to Director.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Significant experience in the Health and Safety field.
  • Appropriate training qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work with an ability and willingness to travel
  • Good computer skills – specifically MS suite of applications

 

Plant Equipment Trainer/ITSSAR Trainer

POSITION: Plant Equipment Trainer/ ITSSAR trainer

SALARY: Up to £25,000 – £30,000 negotiable depending on experience

Delivery of training at the company’s prestigious and demanding clients’ premises are a significant part of this role therefore a willingness to travel UK-wide is a requirement.

JOB ROLE:

It is essential that you are an ITSSAR accredited tutor and be able to demonstrate you can deliver training on the majority of the list below:

  • Slinging and Lifting Operations
  • Overhead Cranes
  • Slinger / Signaller / Banksman ITSSAR

It would be a nice to have that the candidate could also deliver other ITSSAR plant courses but not essential as we can upskill within the role.
