IOSH Managing Safely Refresher

This IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course aims to:

• Revise and update management responsibilities from the IOSH Managing Safely course
• Update changes in good practice, guidance, legislation and standards

At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:

• Recall the key elements addressed in IOSH Managing Safely
• Outline the stages of Successful Safety Management set out in HSG65
• Develop a positive safety culture
• Detail any recent changes to health and safety legislation
• Reiterate the general principles of risk assessment and risk control
• Prepare and use appropriate active monitoring techniques
• Conduct adequate investigations of accidents

Please note that IOSH will only issue certificates on successful completion to attendees who have previously gained the full IOSH Managing Safely award or the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher award. Previous certificate numbers will therefore be required to submit to IOSH
