CCNSG Contractor Safety Passport – Leading a Team Safely (ECITB)

The Leading a Team Safely course aims to set the scene within the context of legislation and general Health and Safety aspects. The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely Course is valid for three years from the date of the course. To be eligible to attend this course you must hold a current CCNSG Safety Passport

Supervisors are required to attend a third day, which provides an overview of the two days and extends techniques of health and safety into instructional techniques.

At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:

• Realise the importance of the Safety Passport itself, as well as the importance of the engineering construction industry as a whole
• Have an awareness of health and safety at work as well as what their employer and they must do to abide with governing laws.  To make those who supervise others more aware of their responsibilities

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board works with employers and training providers to give the engineering construction industry workforce the skills it needs to meet the challenges of the future. ECITB invest around £25 million each year supporting employers to attract, develop and qualify their people in a wide range of craft, technical and professional disciplines

IMPORTANT UPDATE: (As of 03 November 2021) The 3 month grace period currently allowed after the expiry date of a CCNSG card will come to an end from 1st April 2022. Therefore from the 1st April 2022 delegates will be required to attend a Renewal Course or take the online renewal test BEFORE their safety passport expires.
